 | The Design Process: How we work together Our first meeting is on-site to learn about the characteristics of the outdoor space. We engage our clients in a dialogue to extend their thoughts, and to move them beyond their range of experiences to craft the most effective design for their unique outdoor environment. We consider the proximity of the exterior space to the interior space, appropriate landscaping materials, the look and scale of existing structures and the client’s preferences. As professionals, we are educated about plant characteristics and have the experience to know which plants grow successfully in a multitude of situations. Upon careful consideration of the information gathered in the initial meeting, a landscape plan, including drawings and sample materials, is presented to the client. |
